The teacher training event was organized by Virtual Campus in collaboration with a group of teachers and was primarily held at Escola Carlos Amarante.
The aim was to provide participants with specific training on the 'Digital Stories' project and modules and to experiment with new teaching methodologies.
Due to school commitments and participant preferences, a hybrid format was adopted: an initial face-to-face session and a subsequent online session.
The Centro de Formação de Sá de Miranda supported the organization, contributing to the dissemination of the initiative and the collection of registrations.
The "Digital Storytelling Techniques" training program had a very positive impact on the participating teachers. The teachers greatly appreciated the materials provided and gained greater confidence in using digital storytelling to improve student learning. In particular, there was a strong belief in the benefits of this methodology for developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
Teachers also showed a greater interest in integrating digital tools into their teaching practice and appreciated the ease of use of the platform provided.
The results of the program led to the creation of a new storytelling program at Carlos Amarante School, demonstrating the enthusiasm and commitment of the teachers involved.
