As part of the Digital Stories project WP4, the EU-Track multidisciplinary research centre organised two successful small-scale meetings across Italy, bringing together 34 participants, including principals, vice-principals, teachers, and parents. The first meeting took place at Primary School Giovanni Paolo II, attended by 24 participants (on October 18th, 2024), while the second was held at I.C. Milani with 10 attendees (on November 5th).
Both events aimed to foster collaboration among key stakeholders in education, addressing current challenges and exploring the storytelling approach as an innovative teaching method. Each two-hour meeting began with a brief presentation about the project and its objectives, followed by engaging discussions where participants shared valuable insights and proposed actionable recommendations.
These meetings, part of a series conducted across partner countries, highlighted the importance of community involvement in shaping educational policy. The collaborative discussions played a crucial role in developing a comprehensive recommendation program for future educational practices, ensuring that the voices of educators and parents are heard in the ongoing efforts to improve education in Italy.
