26/12/2024
FotografiaThe Digital Stories Project Team has officially released the Platform Testing Final Report, consolidating the results of testing sessions conducted across multiple countries, including Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, and Portugal. These sessions were part of Work Package 3 - Online Interactive Learning/Teaching Platform, with events held at Bafra Kodlama Merkezi in Samsun, Fatih Atatürk Çağdaş Yaşam Çok Programlı Anadolu Lisesi in Istanbul, Institute Comprehensive "Milani" in Terracina, and additional sessions in Slovenia and Portugal. The final testing phase was completed at Yildiz Technical University with the Faculty of Education on 25th December 2024.

During these sessions, participants tested the platform’s functionalities and provided valuable user experience and content organization feedback. Feedback was collected via questionnaires translated into local languages to ensure comprehensive input. This allowed for targeted improvements to the platform, addressing user needs and enhancing its overall usability.
The feedback revealed the platform’s intuitive design, ease of navigation, and the usefulness of its instructional videos. Participants highlighted the platform's pedagogical relevance, with educators particularly appreciating its alignment with teaching objectives, ability to cater to various educational levels, and adaptability across subjects. The introduction of storytelling as a teaching strategy was praised for its novelty and engaging approach, with many teachers eager to incorporate it into their practices.
While the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, some suggestions were made to enhance the user experience further. These included simplifying navigation, improving access to registration forms, and adjusting the organization of learning materials. In response, several updates were made to the platform, including adding direct links from the website, improving the registration process, and enhancing the visibility of course materials and learning objectives.

Overall, the Digital Stories platform has proven to be a highly effective educational tool with substantial potential to enrich teaching practices. Its user-friendly design and pedagogical relevance make it a valuable resource for educators. The positive reception across diverse educational contexts underscores the platform’s ability to inspire and transform classroom engagement. Its ongoing evolution reflects a strong commitment to optimizing educational resources based on real-world feedback.
